The world doesn’t pause for us, and our losses don’t undo themselves. And yet we go: we keep thinking, keep making, keep watching, and move forward anyway.
By training I’m a molecular cell biology scientist. I’ve spent my career in biopharmaceutical research — most recently in gene therapy, working on a program aimed at globally impacting sickle cell disease. I care about the slow, patient work of turning an idea into something that helps a real person.
But a title was never the thing that made me who I am. I’m also a husband, a new father, and a lifelong student of stoicism — someone who’s learned that purpose outlasts any job description. I write here in the hours after the house goes quiet, about the three things I keep coming back to:
- Thoughts — what I’m trying to make sense of: life, work, parenthood, the things that don’t have clean answers.
- Creations — things I build, from this site to ideas I hope to make real one day.
- Reviews — the films and stories that stay with me, and what they reveal about how we live.
A new entry goes up every two weeks — first and third Tuesdays, always free.
I’m always glad to meet people who share my values and curiosity. If you’d like to follow my professional work, you’ll find me on LinkedIn. And if anything here resonates, I’d love to hear from you.
